The Original PlasmaCar is an innovative, ride-on toy that harnesses the natural forces of inertia, centrifugal force, friction, and kid power to move. That’s right, no batteries, gears, or pedals – just pure fun and child’s play at its best! As a family we have tried out these smooth little machines at Chapters Indigo on occasion as well as at friends homes, and to be honest they are super-fun! Even for adults like me.
When I received ours to review I admittedly whizzed around my home for almost an hour because it’s that much fun. Although not recommended to use on hardwood, I just couldn’t resist nor could I go outdoors to try in the snow. Smooth, balancing and really fun for all ages. I can’t believe it holds up to 220 lbs!! That means a PlasmaCar is an investment to last a lifetime in my books. What’s great is that you can pass one of these babies off to younger siblings or relatives when your children grow older too. The gift that keeps on giving!
What is more interesting and amazing to me is that in a vast pool of toys, this one is one of those toys that simply will always be enjoyable and requires ZERO technology! In today’s changing world of instant gratification, that is HUGE! Endless play, hours of fun and a whole lot of speed – this thing can really take off! Perfect for my little risk-takers at home!
