So many great memories happen when my family is together, little moments are those I cherish forever and usually are accompanied by a soundtrack of our lives. Music is everywhere, I can still remember what was playing when all those tiny momentous moments happened in my life, and I am thrilled that even through the chaos of motherhood I can still hold onto those moments with my kids and husband too. I have always been a huge Beatles fan, listening to them since before I was born because my parents too where big fans of their music, so when Netflix sent us a wonderful package and introduced us to the cutest show ever – The Beat Bugs, I fell in love.
I also took it as an opportunity to reconnect with some of my old, but fave titles that my children will now enjoy too.
With the new Netflix original series Beat Bugs, inspired by the music of The Beatles, family sing-alongs now include classics such as Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds or Blackbird! Thanks to five charming and energetic bug-like creatures (Jay, Kumi, Crick, Buzz and Walter), we have the opportunity to come together over kid-friendly story lines and the best darn music ever made – re-recorded by today’s top artists, including P!nk, Sia and Eddie Vedder.
How cool is that? Check out the show – it will soon become your fave too!
Here is a snippet of my little guys singing the theme song below….don’t forget to scroll to the bottom and find out how YOU and your family can get something special too 😉
