School’s out for the summer and that means entertainment for parents around the clock! If your kids are anything like mine, they will need constant stimulation from the moment they wake up until the minute their tiny eyes shut- bring on 2 months of helicopter parenting and exhaustion. Can’t complain though, I look forward to it all year, as I can imagine you do too.
Our favourite things to do are all outdoor activities however, the reality of it is that some days are just not sunny enough to spend frolicking in the sun – enter the savoir – Netflix! Aside from hours of entertainment in front of the ol’tube, Netflix has taken it one step further with their interactive adventure series!
This remarkable breakthrough in traditional television watching allows children to be in complete creative control of what their characters end up doing and saying by giving them the ability to choose from multiple paths for their favourite characters to play out on screen. With so many endings and choice points, kids will be able to watch the same title over and over, without hearing or seeing the same exact story – a gift of constant discovery for them, and reprieve for mom and dad!
How cool is this? I know my kids will love this, check out the trailer below to learn how your family can go on a special interactive adventure too!
Netflix is the first to offer something like this on a global scale with three brand new titles, starting with Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale, which will be globally available on iOS and TV devices today, and followed byBuddy Thunderstruck: The Maybe Pile, and Stretch Armstrong: The Breakout later this year.
