When I first received my TaLii Towels I wasn’t sure what to think really, the package that came in the mail contained 4 large towels and was no bigger than the size of 1 normal towel. They were compact to say the least – the simple, small package that was mailed to me definitely hosted 4 towels and not just 1. Upon opening I realised that these were not normal towels at all and to he perfectly honest I was sceptical. Would these ever replace our towels that we use when travelling or laying beach side? Only one way to find out – so we put them to the test!
Aside from the tiny appearance the first striking thing about TaLii Towels is the attention to detail. My kids faces lit up when they saw the customisation containing their names and detailed emblems. As a mother, I embraced the fact that they are super compact as a selling feature simply because less sometimes is more when it comes to carrying a cargo when out and about. I also really loved that they had an elasticised hoop to keep the towels contained when not in use. Off to the beach we went – with what seemed like almost nothing to carry.
I promised not to open the towels until we arrived so that we could get an idea as to whether we missed our traditional towels or not – when we did we found a full sized sheet upon opening. To my surprise we could wrap ourselves in them! Impressed and totally understated. After hours of swimming, sun and sand the TaLi Towels withstood a day with my very active children, kept them dry and totally comfortable, in fact they attested to saying that they were much softer than ours at home.
As a mother, I truly love the fact that the TaLii Towels are ALWAYS dry – yes, it’s true! They somehow stay dry and maintain absorbency – magic! I have since ditched out old towels for beach days and take these along for the simple fact that they are MUCH lighter to carry and super, compact to store too. Another thing I can’t get over is that they are also antimicrobial and repel odours – cottage here we come!
