Words For Justin, When It’s None of Our Business.

By now you have probably seen/heard about Justin Bieber‘s newest tattoo addition to his beautiful baby face. I have read so many complaints about this tiny speck of a tattoo that I think that it is about time that I share my own with you. First off, yes I agree that a tattoo to the face is probably the stupidest thing a person can do for obvious reasons – the future, the possibility of wrinkling, and of course the chance of being mistaken for what some people would think of as a gangster symbol. This all doesn’t take away from the fact that in Justin’s defense, he will forever be Justin to the world, never a regular person walking down the street and judged for who he is on looks alone.

When I look at the photo he revealed, I am compelled to think of two things. One, he is obviously not sure of the choice he made due to the darkened room and half covered face pose. Two, he really lacks attention and is unsure about who he is to himself, let alone the world around him. Imagine being a child growing up under the spotlight trying to find your ‘place’ among all the other celebs and talent in the world…can’t be easy especially when the greats all had ‘markings’ of their own to live up to. When we think back to these legends we remember Madonna parading around in her cone shaped bra, KISS’ performances in full makeup and platform shoes, and even Elvis’ eccentric outfits and swaying hips.

As a mother of two boys, sure it makes me think that perhaps it isn’t the best move- but when I really analyze the fact that a face tattoo may be misplaced for a regular boy, it is for the sole purpose of employment and we ALL know Justin will be employed for a very long time tattoo or not.

So why does a tiny cross tattoo below the eye of yet another celebrity have us all worked up about? Your guess is as good as mine. His body, his choice – at least it is barely noticeable.
