Since so many of our friends are having babies, there is always the struggle of finding that perfect gift that will not only serve a purpose but can be passed on to siblings and cousins for years to come – a gift with thought. I know I personally appreciated gifts that could be used without being over used when I had my children because quite frankly toys become expensive over time. These ever so soft rockers are something that will be passed down from generation to generation. The kind of quality our grandparents had once upon a time, beautiful craftsmanship at it’s best.
Since these rockers hold a child up to 80 lbs they can be used for both baby and a chunky toddler without a fear of breaking it and since they come in a variety of animals, vehicles and structures there is always opportunity to find the perfect one for the perfect little prince or princess! PLUS only the highest quality American hardwoods like maple or cherry wood is used to frame them too.

It’s in the details! Complete with tails that make a crinkly sound, and squeaker noses, there isn’t anything that has been overlooked when it comes to toddler entertainment. Each Rockabye Rocker is programmed with four songs too and can be easily activated by simply touching the embroidered shape buttons on the back of their heads. There is an ABC song that teaches all the alphabet, a 1,2,3 song that teaches 1 through 10, a colors of the rainbow song that teaches all the colors and a fun song called “I Love to Rock” in all rockers except Homer the baseball rocker where the fourth song had to be the classic “Take me out to the ballgame” sung by our kid’s choir! Look for the velcro sealed pouch usually on the animals neck where the battery box and on/off switch is located. Three AA batteries are included and can be replaced here if they get played out. I just love that the music is soft and not overly annoying – we all know how much that can drive a mama crazy! Even if it does, you can always easily take the batteries out – just in case 😉
