I was recently invited to the Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket, Ontario Disney Store Grand Opening! Who wouldn't be thrilled with attending an event thrown by Disney? Let me start off by staying this was truly a magical experience!
"Disney Store’s new design aims to deliver “the best 30 minutes of a child’s day” through immersive experiences, including a Disney Princess castle with magic mirror, translucent magical trees,Disney∙Pixar CARS neighborhood, and the Disney Store Theatre, featuring the latest in Disney entertainment."
From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with organized pockets of magical spaces, just waiting to be discovered. I have always been a fan of the Disney Store in general....but this, this is something special. The princess castle is amazing, a life size castle with an interactive 'magic mirror' will keep tiny princesses motivated and wondering if magic really does exist!
Everywhere you turn there is a portal to a new little story that is just waiting to be discovered! From tiny tunnels that lead to a new area, to simple walkways paved for imaginative journeys. My favourite part of the store is the Disney Store Theatre. A great place to keep the children occupied while parents shop! No matter what your favourite Disney Character is you will find it here living among a community of friends.

To celebrate Disney-Pixar’s Brave this summer, the Newmarket Disney Store will offer guests a wide assortment of Brave product for fans of all ages, including toys, plush, apparel, costumes, stationary and more.
From June 30th – July 1st, the Upper Canada Mall location will host a free Brave event.
