Today is National S'mores Day! What a yummy treat to celebrate!
Initially, I went out and bought all the items to make the perfect s'more so that I could take photos and post them here. THEN, my husband got a hold of the marshmallows and now they are NOWHERE to be found!
So, sticking to the plan (and my cravings) I searched the kitchen to find the next best thing. Ice Cream! This is how they turned out.

Same yummy goodness as a traditional s'more, only colder and messier ;) I don't think the kiddos minded one bit. My oldest even came up with the smart idea to wrap them and put them in the freezer for breakfast. I don't think keeping them in the freezer will last very long though ;)
